The semi-annual Bird Fair will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Central Park Hall at Expo Square.

Calling all Volunteers!

We need all members to be ready to volunteer some time to help make this another outstanding event for the OAS.  So think about the best time for you to be there to help, and what area you would like to work.  We will need people to help set up on Friday afternoon, MANY people all day Saturday between 8 and 6, and then to tear down after the show.  Come Join in the FUN!

July 27, 2014 – OAS Monthly Meeting

Dr. Carol Best of Best Friends Veterinary Hospital is our speaker.

Don't miss the popular Dr. Best from Best Friends Veterinary Hospital as she teaches us Avian First Aid Techniques!  Ever wonder what you would do if your bird chose a weekend or holiday to have an accident or illness?  Come to our meeting tomorrow and find out.

Meet your fellow OAS members and guests at the Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E 93rd St, Tulsa, OK.  We start gathering at 1:30, and the short business meeting begins at 2:00.  Then Dr. Best will let us know what we need to know for a bird-related emergency.

At this meeting we will also need to discuss who will do what at the September 6 Bird Fair.  It is important that all members participate in producing this well attended, income-producing event.  It's not fair that only a few hearty, yet very tired, members bear the full burden to put on this event twice a year.  Think about how you can spend a couple hours helping with set-up, the raffle table, the club table, admissions or working with the vendors and clean-up.  Every little bit helps and is appreciated.

See you - Tomorrow!! - Sunday, July 27.
